Don Toño Connecticut Trio

Don Toño / Natalicio 1938 (robusto), These cigars are made limited edition in honor of Javier Velez father Antonio “Toño” Vélez (1938 - 2020). Don Toño is the son of Don Sotero, who sold cigars in a small store or neighborhood grocery store and it was Don Toño who searched for the cigars of some cidreño torcedor. Don Toño dedicated his whole life to public transport, we can say that he was the creator of the bus route from Cidra to Caguas. Known by many Cidreños who traveled with Don Toño to study, work, go grocery shopping, in the end, at that time for many, it was the way of transporting from one town to another. This limited edition of cigars that are made once a year for July 26, is a tribute to his life, the public service he offered and the unconditional support he gave me as a tobacco artisan and as an artist. The blend of these cigars can vary from year to year to celebrate each year with different tobacco.
